    About Cedar Mountain

    Due to retirement, the Cedar Mountain School District is seeking a superintendent candidate to lead their school district beginning July 1, 2019.  This position also will assume some principal duties.  The district has a veteran administrative team and business manager.

    Cedar Mountain has 2 school buildings and a child care center.  Grades K-5 are in the elementary building in Franklin.  Grades 6-12 are in the middle school/high school in Morgan.  Preschool classes are held in each building.  Additionally, the district runs a child care center in Franklin.  
     
    Cedar Mountain currently has about 100 staff members.  The K-12 enrollment is 466 students.  The district has 49% free and reduced lunch and a 22% IEP student population.  The district has strong community support, and passed a $790 per pupil operating referendum increase in November, 2018.

    To be considered for this position, an applicant’s completed file must be received by the Cedar Mountain School District 2754 by January 18th, 2019 and must include the completed District application found at the top of this page and the following documents:

    • A cover letter indicating a desire to be a candidate to be Cedar Mountain Schools Superintendent.
    • Legal proof or other evidence showing qualifications to serve as a Superintendent in the state of Minnesota
    • A copy of current resume, at least three letters of recommendation and a copy of the candidate’s official transcripts.
