Welcome back to a new school year in Cedar Mountain! As we prepare to open our doors once again, I want to express my excitement and anticipation for the opportunities that lie ahead.

This year, we will continue our commitment to providing a nurturing and inspiring environment for all our students. Our dedicated teachers and staff have been busy preparing engaging lessons and activities designed to ignite curiosity and foster a love of learning. Whether this is your first year with us or you are returning for another, you are an important part of our school community.

As a small rural district, we pride ourselves on the close-knit relationships we build with students and families. Our small class sizes and personalized attention allow us to support each child's unique learning style. We encourage you to stay involved in your child’s education and participate in our school events and activities. Together, we can create an enriching atmosphere that promotes academic excellence and character development.

On a personal note, it is a pleasure to be appointed as superintendent of the Cedar Mountain School District for the upcoming school year. I have served school districts in Minnesota as superintendent, both large and small, over the past 30 years. There is truly something special about small Minnesota school districts. While still responding to the rich promise of the land, the Franklin, Morgan, and surrounding communities still enjoy a quality of life that cannot be matched by larger cities.
