Athletics:
Baseball: C team – Game in Redwood (Memorial Field) Dismissal at 2:50pm. The bus leaves at 3:00 pm. JV – Doubleheader in Luverne dismissal at 12:05 pm. The bus leaves at 12:15pm. Bus leaves Redwood at 12:45.
Golf: Practice at the course today. Bus leaves at 3:30
Track: C Invite at St. James. Dismissal at 1:50. Bus leaves at 2:00 pm.
Softball: Game in Windom. Dismissal at 2:05 pm. The bus leaves at 2:15 pm. The bus leaves Redwood 2:45.
Tennis: Match in Fairmont. Dismissal at 2:20. Bus leaves at 2:30 pm, pick up by Redwood Valley.
Basketball – Boys in grades 7-11 meet during RISE today with Brian Pendleton in the Conference Room
Middle School/High School:
A reminder with roof construction going on at the district office side of the building. Please do not enter or leave those doors. Avoid the area by the office and van garage for the next 2-3 weeks while the project is going on. It is a dangerous situation with 500+-degree tar. There will be noise and smell as well. Apologies for the distractions and inconvenience while we get this necessary project done.
STUDENT COUNCIL
Student Council MOA permission slips are due tomorrow!
Student council 26-27 Application forms are available in the library. They are due on May 13th No late forms will be accepted.
Spring Dress up days will be next week! Monday will be pastels. Watch for posters around school.
ALL library books are due back to the library by May 8th. Please look through your lockers and at home for any books that you are not reading and get them turned in.
All seniors: Please submit a senior picture for the yearbook to Ms. Sorenson by this Friday, May 1st. If you do not submit a senior picture, your latest Lifetouch portrait will go in the yearbook. Also please submit a baby photo to Ms. Sorenson as well. Please do not wait until the last minute to take care of this. Thank you!
IMPORTANT announcements about Prom this Saturday, May 2nd:
- Appointments on Friday, May 1st only with prior approval will be given consideration.
- The schedule for the night is o 6 pm Grand March o 7 pm Banquet o 745-945 pm Dance o 945 pm Board bus to Urban Air
o Return to Morgan approximately 5 am
Early Dismissals:
- This Friday, May 1st at 1202 pm.
- Last day of school for Cedar Mountain Elementary and MS/HS will be Friday, May 22nd. This is the change approved by the school board on 4/15 due to the start of the referendum project.
NHS:
- Road Ditch cleanup will take place on Wednesday, May 6th, right after school. Meet in the Art Room after the final bell. If you are unable to participate, find your own replacement.
- Meeting Thursday, May 7th, during lunch in the Art Room. Come prepared to present your service project hours. Please let Ms. Sorenson know ahead of time if you are unable to attend.
General:
- There’s concession stand candy available for purchase in the MS/HS Office after school. Original Skittles and Starburst are being sold for $1.00 each.
