Athletics:
Baseball: Practice in Redwood. The bus leaves at 325 pm.
Golf: Practice at school.
Track: Practice in Sleepy Eye. The bus leaves at 325 pm.
Softball: Practice in Redwood. The bus leaves at 325 pm.
Tennis: Practice in Redwood.
JO Volleyball:
- Wednesday, April 29th from 330 to 530 pm in Morgan for 10u
Middle School/High School:
A reminder with roof construction going on at the district office side of the building. Please do not enter or leave those doors. Avoid the area by the office and van garage for the next 2-3 weeks while the project is going on. It is a dangerous situation with 500+-degree tar. There will be noise and smell as well. Apologies for the distractions and inconvenience while we get this necessary project done.
ALL library books are due back to the library by May 8th. Please look through your lockers and at home for any books that you are not reading and get them turned in.
On Monday at Redwood Falls Golf Club, The Boys Team took 1st with a total of 217 and Isaac Potter was the Medalist with a score of 46. For the Girls Claire Sherman was also a Medalist with a score of 55.
Tuesday versus Springfield, Blake Koerner was the Medalist for the Boys with a score of 43. Congratulations!
REMINDER – Golf picture forms are due by end of day to Mrs. Poppe.
Student Council – Short meeting during RISE today.
All seniors:
- Please submit a senior picture for the yearbook to Ms. Sorenson by this Friday, May 1st. If you do not submit a senior picture, your latest Lifetouch portrait will go in the yearbook. There’s quite a list of seniors who have not turned in senior pictures or baby photos.
IMPORTANT announcement about Prom this Saturday, May 2nd:
- All agreements are due by April 24th (the yellow one for CM and the other for Urban Air)
- Grade Checks for eligibility are April 24th. No refunds to any prom goers or their guests for ineligibility.
- Appointments on May 1st only with prior approval will be considered.
- The schedule for the night is
- 6 pm Grand March
- 7 pm Banquet
- 745-945 pm Dance
- 945 pm Board bus to Urban Air
- Return to Morgan approximately 5 am
Early Dismissals:
- Early dismissal at 1202 pm this Friday, May 1st.
- Last day of school for Cedar Mountain Elementary and MS/HS will be Friday, May 22nd. This is the change approved by the school board on 4/15 due to referendum project.
NHS:
- Road Ditch cleanup will take place on Wednesday, May 6th, right after school. Meet in the Art Room after the final bell. If you are unable to participate, find your own replacement.
- Meeting Thursday, May 7th, during lunch in the Art Room. Come prepared to present your service project hours. Please let Ms. Sorenson know ahead of time if you are unable to attend.
General:


There’s concession stand candy available for purchase in the MS/HS Office after school. Kinds include M&Ms (plain and peanut), Skittles (original and Wild Berry), and Starburst. Each candy $1.00 each.
