                           Mr. Tews

All of us at Cedar Mountain are committed to working with students, parents, and residents throughout our district.  It is our goal to provide students of all ages with an opportunity to reach their fullest potential.

We have a number of new staff members at Cedar Mountain.  Each of them brings their own special talents and is eager to contribute to our school. They all have great enthusiasm, energy and excitement for teaching, and they are excited about being part of Cedar Mountain Schools.

Cedar Mountain continues to provide a curriculum that offers both college level and vocational track classes to high school students.  Technical, business, and agriculture classes are offered to students in the high school. Emphasis is placed on providing students at all grade levels with a strong core curriculum.  Programs such as the Accelerated Reader and the Keys to Success program allow elementary students opportunities to grow in many areas.  The district has invested in modern facilities and kept up-to-date with their technology.  Teachers are using SMARTboards and Ipads in their classrooms daily. We have excellent curriculum opportunities for all students in our district.

The Cedar Mountain staff is constantly participating in learning opportunities throughworkshops and Staff Development training. They work hard to provide students with the instruction and guidanceneeded to build strong citizens.

Education is teamwork, not a one-person pursuit. At Cedar Mountain Schools, the educational team includes educators, parents, students, and community members. We need to be patient and understanding with one another, and work to express our concerns in respectful ways which will help to build bridges within our school and communities.

Thank you for visiting the Cedar Mountain website.  Please feel free to contact our school if you have any questions or concerns.  Contact me
