Activities / Athletic Attendance A student must be in school the entire day to be eligible to participate in or attend the day’s activities or programs (concerts, athletic events, dances, etc.). An exception to this is a school-sponsored activity. Parents and students must see the high school principal for other extenuating circumstances. If a student is removed from a class period due to disciplinary action, he/she will not be allowed to participate in school-sponsored activities for the remainder of that day. Participants in extracurricular activities will be required to attend the evening’s activities, but cannot participate. Students not involved in extracurricular activities cannot attend the evening's activities. Behavior at School Activities Appropriate behavior at school sponsored events is expected at all times. The supervisory personnel may ask students to leave if they are involved in any disruptive behavior. Students should remain seated during events except during designated breaks.
