Band & Choir The Cedar Mountain band program includes concert band and pep band. All students involved in band are required to participate in concert and pep band. Failure to do so, without a reasonable excuse, will affect your grade. With prior approval from the instructor and with a reasonable excuse, the nonparticipation will not affect your grade. One (1) credit a year will be given to band members for every full year completed in Grades 9-12. The Cedar Mountain choir program includes concert (mixed) choir. One (1) credit a year will be given to choral members for every full year completed in Grades 9-12. All students enrolled in choir are expected to participate in all concerts. Failure to do so, without a reasonable excuse, will affect your grade. With prior approval from the instructor and with a reasonable excuse, the nonparticipation will not affect your grade. All band and choir students must participate in Cedar Mountain concerts, regardless of academic eligibility.
